Marriage heading towards boredom……
The 10 year expiry time…. Don’t know if people will agree in confessing how it feels after a few years of relationship or marriage. A few couples I interacted with lately, all had a similar kind of experience. And they poke me when i ask questions; Hey are you doing some kind of PHD on the subject. Ahaan, that’s a secret I won’t reveal. It’s as if all the love we had for our spouse years back has now altered itself into a compulsive habit, into care and respect. That’s it….Nothing more nothing less…. It is a kind of LIC policy which we sign hoping it to give returns when we will get in old age, when we grow too old to woe another partner.haha… That time we have our spouse to fill in as a nurse, a care taker, a financer for our increased maintenance cost, medical of course.
A few days back my friend got the courage to share with me. Yaar my guy bores me to death. We sat for hours and only exchanges we had with each other were Aur Batao ( and….), Aur Batao ( and….), Aur Batao ( and….), Aur Batao ( and….).
Isn’t it so familiar to what happens with most of us. Oops a touchy topic and i get a death sentence for raising it impudently.
